On this occasion, Youssef Farhat, Principal Coordinator of the EB Development Program and Deputy to the Budget Director responsible for coordinating financing structures at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, underlined the importance of this initiative. , which aligns with national strategic orientations and the Royal Vision, aiming to make Morocco a leading maritime hub, connected to Africa and the rest of the world.
He highlighted the need to adopt a collaborative and consultative approach, integrating all stakeholders to guarantee the success of this strategy.
During this meeting, discussions focused on various crucial aspects such as defining the scope of intervention of BE, the importance of regional planning, and the need to develop a unified conceptual framework for BE in Morocco. .
It was also an opportunity to highlight the importance of synergy between different sectors and regions, and the establishment of effective mechanisms to overcome existing challenges. This is how the SNEB, which is an ambitious project aimed at unlocking the economic, social and environmental potential of the Kingdom’s coastal and marine areas, will rely on the development of coastal clusters capable of ensuring this intersectoral collaboration at the levels central and regional.
