The All-Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF) has named ten athletes who will take part in the Tokyo Olympics.
This number is due to the sanctions imposed by the International Association of Athletics Federations.
The Russian national team will include three representatives in high jump – Maria Lasitskene, Ilya Ivanyuk and Mikhail Akimenko, two masters of sports walking – Vasily Mizinov and Elvira Khasanova.
The team also included pole vaulter Angelica Sidorova, long jumper Daria Klishina, 110 meter hurdler Sergei Shubenkov, decathlete Ilya Shkurenev and hammer thrower Valery Pronkin.
