The Pakistan women’s cricket team lost its first match to India.

The 12th Women’s World Cup Cricket Tournament (50 overs) is taking place in New Zealand. The 6th league match started this morning at Mount Manganu according to Indian time. In which Australia – Pakistan teams clashed.

Australia won the toss and elected to bowl Pakistan were bowled out by the team. Pakistan’s Amin (2 not out), Naqita Khan (9 not out), Sohail (12 not out) and Neetadar (5 not out) were the next outs. Pakistan stumbled, losing 4 for 44.

Then Captain Bisma Makarup-Alia Riyaz pair played casually and rescued the team from the slump. Both scored half-centuries. Alia Riaz was out for 53. Pakistan scored 190 for 6 in 50 overs.

Bisma Makarup was unbeaten on 78. Alana King took 2 wickets for Australia, while Perry, Wellington, Nicola Gary and Megan Schott took 1 wicket each.

Australia then played towards the goal. Healy-Rachel Haynes, the team’s opening pair, scored 60 (10.3 overs) for the first wicket.

Haynes scored 34 and Captain Lanning, who came next, scored 35. Healy, who scored a half-century, lost the game by 72 runs. Australia scored 193 for 3 in 34.4 overs. The team won by 7 wickets.

Australia’s 2nd win in Women’s World Cup. The team had beaten England by 12 runs in the opening match.

Pakistan suffered their 2nd defeat. The team lost its first match to India.
