Cuban artist <a href="https://time.news/they-paint-a-huge-mural-in-havana-with-the-face-of-el-taiger/” title=”They paint a huge mural in Havana with the face of El Taiger”>Arley Valdés dedicated a huge mural to Cuban reggaeton artist José Manuel Carvajal Zaldívar, known as El Taiger.
The reggaeton singer died in Miami after being shot in the head and his face was the inspiration to capture it in a painting, which is located on a wall on Avenida 51, in Marianao, Havana.
“They made a gigantic George Floyd-style mural,” Alex Otaola said, noting that it is probably located on a street that has not been fixed for years.
The pictorial work has a text in English that caught the attention of the influencer and political activist, who said that “It even resembles, it gives an air, that of George Floyd.”
Floyd was a 46-year-old African-American who died after being arrested by police in Minneapolis, United States.

Otaola said that many people asked how they made such a mural and not one for the more than a thousand political prisoners in Cuba, to which he replied:
“Gentleman, because this is authorized by the dictatorship, loves! If it were not authorized, no one dares to make a mural (…) in a country where people do not have the courage to say in a queue: “How tired I am of this misery!”
The mural joins the many tributes El Taiger received while he was hospitalized in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
“Of course, no artist willing to paint El Taiger lends itself to painting José Daniel Ferrer”, Alex asserted, referring to one of the thousand-odd political prisoners of the tyranny.

Taiger was found shot in the trunk of a car on October 3 and never regained consciousness.
The Miami Police ruled out suicide and classified the incident as a crime. The influencer Alex Otaola maintains that the Castro regime has taken advantage of this crime to try to make people believe that they have control of Miami.
