Cuban Alexander Moreno Suárez has taken to Facebook to ask for support from the community after a devastating fire that left a single mother and her three children homeless.
According to Moreno, the family has received significant help, but they still need to meet some basic needs to regain stability in their daily lives.
In his post, Alexander expressed: “Thank you very much to all the people who in one way or another collaborated with this case, we are already winning, we only need four tiles and a mat for the children’s bed. Anyone who can support with something can do so, here I leave the card numbers (9205129979733681 CUP) and (9235129973004596 MLC). Please, it’s not obligatory, if you don’t want to collaborate you don’t have to, but don’t make ugly comments either. You can contact me at 59728393 in case you haven’t seen the other posts. This girl’s house burned down, she has three children and is a single mother, thank you very much.”.
The Cuban’s publication has generated a wave of solidarity responses and messages of support. Facebook users have shown their concern and have sent blessings to both the affected family and all those who have contributed.
Among the comments, messages such as that of Esperanza Calderín stand out, who said: “Blessings”and that of Yary Rodríguez, who added: “God is good”. Others, like Sirelda Figueroa Zapata, shared their support with a “Blessings”and many more joined in the same spirit of solidarity.
In addition to messages of encouragement, some users, such as Daima Veltran and Dadis María Arsuaga Handerson, shared prayer emoticons and expressed their gratitude to those who have helped in some way. “May God bless her and all those who have helped in one way or another”wrote Arsuaga Handerson.
It is important to highlight that Alexander Moreno has used his network of contacts to help this single mother recover a safe roof for her children. The call for solidarity has been extended to the entire community, reminding Cubans of the importance of supporting each other in difficult times.
As the family recovers from this difficult time, Moreno continues to thank everyone who has contributed, emphasizing that every little help makes a big difference.
This Cuban’s publication not only shows the serious situation that the family is experiencing, but also the willingness of many to come together to offer their support, showing the strength of the Cuban community in times of adversity.
Help continues to be welcome, and Alexander Moreno has made it clear that any contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference for this family struggling to rebuild their life.
