BOLZANO. The man found lifeless along the bank of the Isarco river in Bolzano died of natural causes – probably an illness. This is a citizen 50 year old Moroccan, homelessknown to the police for episodes of alcohol abuse. The man had his documents and some money with him.
The medical examiner has confirmed natural death: there was in fact no sign of violence. For this reason, an autopsy will not be carried out. The discovery was made around 1.30pm in a grove not far from the cycle path that connects the Palermo bridge to the Resia bridge by a man who was walking with his dog.
He appears to have died in the previous hours. The police, forensics and firefighters intervened on site.
