Mit is possible o Andrew Garfield to appear at the London Film Festival without his co-star, Florence Pughin the new movie”We live in Time“, because the actress is filming, but she found another solution. He walked the red carpet together with one statues of life-size, from cardboard. Let’s at least hope that his performance is not two-dimensional.
Pugh plays a young chef who has been diagnosed cancer. Garfield keeps his role partner she and the father of their three-year-old daughter. His character is an executive of a marketing company and when he meets the chef he is still trying to cope with a divorce from his first marriage. The film was accepted mixed reviewshowever, the chemistry between the leaders was positively commented on.
Positive comments include those of David Rooney, who wrote that John Crowley had guided him to “sensitivity but truth“, adding that “rarely once in a while courageously from the heart to him mortality it celebrates a transcendent life as such». In contrast there were reviews like that of Brianna Zigler, who said “the film’s greatest sin is that it made them characters damn that boringto the point where it becomes almost unbearable to watch them».
