“Light so that he may find in the afterlife the peace that he did not find in life”asked Alex Otaola upon the death of Cuban reggaeton singer El Taiger.

Precisely, this Saturday the urban artist’s wake took place in the Church of San Lázaro, in the city of Hialeah.

Days ago, Otaola would have said goodbye with these words to José Manuel Carvajal Zaldívar, whose death has been used by the Havana dictatorship.

According to reports, El Taiger’s followers who came to say goodbye to him at the Catholic temple in Hialeah were able to see the open coffin.

Otaola sent messages of encouragement and comfort, and stressed that he was never a friend of the artist, but that he considers himself more honest than many who say they are crying for him.

“From this program we send the people who loved El Taiger from the heart, we send a lot of strength, a lot of resignation, and a lot of light for him, so that he can achieve what he did not achieve on the earth plane…”

“(…) and that as a spirit I hope you get all the necessary light, all the necessary guidance to find a spiritual path that really gives you the peace that you did not get right here,” said.

So far, little or almost nothing is known about the perpetrators of what the Miami police have already classified as a homicide.

The whereabouts of an alleged friend of the deceased is unknown, and he was identified as Damián Valdez-Galloso, alias “El Narra.”

Otaola himself has pointed out that Valdez-Galloso was probably not the one who fired the gun that left José Manuel dead and praised the work of the Miami police.

“Maybe this man was not the one who fired the gun (…) maybe he agreed to take El Taiger to a place without knowing what was going to happen,” he alleged.
