The agreement aims to revitalize the local economy and improve the residential conditions of young people by ▲developing local specialized products ▲operating local creator training courses ▲discovering local content industries ▲operating employment and start-up support programs for young people, etc. to resolve pending issues and coexist with the local community. The two organizations that signed the agreement are expected to support customized curriculum and start-up support programs tailored to regional characteristics and contribute to the settlement of young people in the region and revitalization of the economy.
Pyeongchang County Governor Shim Jae-guk said, “Through this agreement, we plan to actively support young local talent so that they can settle down and help revitalize the local community.”
Meanwhile, Pyeongchang-gun is receiving a great response from residents by providing various experiential activities to local youth through the Youth Culture House.
The Youth Culture House, located in Pyeongchang-eup and Jinbu-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, provides an environment where youth can discover themselves and grow based on various experiences through experiential activities.
Recently, the Pyeongchang-gun Youth Culture House is planning a series of experiential activities for youth. One of the most noteworthy programs is the 2-day, 1-night ‘Heyri Art Village Emotional Charging Camp’ run by the Pyeongchang-gun Youth Culture Center from the 19th to the 20th. Teenagers will stay at Heyri Art Village in Paju City for two days and one night, and will have valuable experiences discovering new hobbies and sharing their artistic sensibilities through various artistic activities.
On the 19th, the Jinbu Youth Culture House is preparing a field trip to Everland in Yongin City in cooperation with the Youth After-School Academy, raising expectations among youth. Participating youth will have the opportunity to relieve stress and strengthen bonds with friends through fun play facilities and exciting experiences.
On the 26th, digital experience activities with the theme of metaverse and VR will also be held. Pyeongchang-gun Youth Culture House plans to visit the National Youth Future Environment Center in Bonghwa-gun with teenagers and have time to create their own VR video using a 360-degree camera.
