The national air carrier of Azerbaijan AZAL has introduced a new online service for the return of air tickets, which is available on the official website or in the airline’s mobile application, Day.Az reports with reference to Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC.
This is AZAL’s next step towards digitalization and increasing convenience for customers.
The new ticket refund service provides AZAL customers with more opportunities to independently manage their bookings. You can issue a refund for an air ticket without leaving your home, without having to visit offices or contact a call center. Now a passenger can return a ticket from anywhere in the world by simply clicking the “Ticket Return” button in the “My Bookings” section. Refunds are processed automatically.
Depending on the chosen fare, customers can issue either a full or partial refund of their air ticket. This allows you to get a refund for certain segments of your trip. For example, if part of the route has already been completed, the passenger can return the remaining part of the ticket. This flexibility is especially important for those whose plans may change while traveling.
In addition, the service is available for both single and multiple passengers at the same time, making it easier to manage group bookings. Moreover, if there are several passengers in the booking, you can select a specific one for a refund.
