‘Cobra Golf’, a golf club brand developed by global sports brand Puma, is launching a 3D printed putter. It features face technology that applies sophisticated 3D printing technology and collaborated with ‘LA GOLF’.

The 3D printed putter is equipped with a lightweight 3D printing cartridge made with HP Multi-Zeck Fusion technology.

The cartridge is carefully manufactured to ideally place the weight of the putter. It also provides a soft hitting feel and hitting sound preferred by golfers.

Collaboration with LA GOLF is also something to note. LA GOLF’s representative technology is the 6061 Aerospace aluminum insert with descending loft technology. The feature is that the face is divided into four sides and the loft is configured differently from 4 degrees to 1 degree.

The loft, which is lowered by 1 degree of deviation, ensures a consistent launch angle even with inaccurate hits and strokes. Through this, it boasts end-over-end roll performance that shows optimal ball rolling.

Thanks to the application of the latest technology, 3D printed putters have become more complete.

It features a carbon fiber crown, 3D printed grid cartridge, milled aluminum face insert, and 304 stainless steel body.

It has high forgiveness, so there is less head twist when hitting off-center of the face. Thanks to this, there is an advantage in that the ball rolls straight toward the target direction.

The 3D printed putter is released in three models, including Azera, Supernova, and Grand Sport-35, providing a variety of options to suit golfers’ tastes. The grip is a Superstroke Genegy Pistol 1.0, and the shaft is a KBS CT Tour 120.

Jose Miraflor, Vice President of Marketing & Product Architecture at Cobra Golf, said, “Cobra Golf is the first golf company to introduce 3D printing technology. Through technological advancements, 3D printed putters have become even more capable. “It will become a new standard for putters.”
