No Man’s Sky Features Halloween Event: The Cursed
Hello Games is celebrating Halloween with a new time-limited event in No Man’s Sky, aptly named The Cursed. Starting today and lasting for three weeks, players will have the opportunity to transform their ships into alien UFOs as they navigate through haunted worlds filled with new enemies and massive boss battles.
In this chilling experience, the usual protections offered by spacesuits will be replaced with the need to manage an Anomaly Suppressor. Players will also encounter rapid changes between day and night cycles, further complicating their interstellar missions. Interestingly, the usual option of hyperdriving away from a planet is taken away; players will need to meticulously plan their travels using the ancient portal network.
According to the official press release, “Haunting voices leak through from another dimension, providing guidance, information, strange blueprints… and mystery. Players will have to decide who these voices belong to, where they are coming from, and if they can be trusted.” Completing the Expedition will reward participants with spooky customization options for their Exosuit and an authentic alien spaceship.
This event kicks off today, but players can expect additional details and the anticipated launch of a PS5 Pro patch in the upcoming weeks. Are you excited to dive back into No Man’s Sky to experience The Cursed? We invite you to share your thoughts in the comments below.
