Ministry of Health regarding oncology drugs: They were supplied according to international specifications

The investigation committee formed by the Ministry of Health regarding oncology drugs said that the oncology drugs available on the market were supplied in accordance with international laws and protocols with regard to efficiency and cost.

The committee added, today in a press conference, that all analyzes of oncology drugs showed that they did not contain any of the problems.

The committee indicated that the side effects of the medications mentioned by the centers in various regions of the country already exist in all countries of the world.

For his part, the Minister of Health in the Unity Government, Ramadan Abu Jannah, confirmed that the oncology medicines supplied by the Public Tender Committee are safe and conform to specifications.

Abu Jannah reassured citizens that the medicines were of high quality and supplied from well-known companies.

The Minister of Health said that they are continuing the project to supply medicines according to the public tender, and we have provided about 70% of oncology medicines.

In mid-September, the Scientific Committee of the Misrata Oncology Institute rejected medicines supplied from (India, Turkey, Cyprus, Malta) on the grounds that they were unknown to them and that some patients had developed a disease condition after using them previously through private companies, in addition to the appearance of symptoms. “Stronger than before,” she said, advising the supply of medicines from internationally known companies.
