Arab summit in Manama: Mr. Akhannouch meets with the head of the Lebanese government
Manama – The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, held talks, Thursday in Manama, with his Lebanese counterpart, Mr. Najib Mikati, on the sidelines of the work of the 33rd session of the Arab League Council at summit level.

This meeting, which took place in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita, was an opportunity for both parties to review several questions of common interest.
The two heads of government insisted on the importance of activating bilateral cooperation mechanisms in various areas, in harmony with the quality of relations of constant cooperation and solidarity between the two countries.
Mr. Akhannouch underlined the interest shown by the Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in the development of its relations with the Lebanese Republic, recalling that the Kingdom has always stood alongside Lebanon in its national causes.
Taking part in these talks, on the Lebanese side, were the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Abdallah Bou Habib, the Minister of Agriculture Mr. Abbas Hajj Hassan, the Minister of Information Mr. Ziad Makary, and the Minister of Education Mr. Abbas Halabi.
