Meanwhile, on the same day, Uijeongbu City (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced that it had conducted ‘serious disaster prevention management supervisor training’ by the Korea Safety and Health Association, a safety and health education specialized organization, at the city hall talent training center.
As serious accidents are emerging as a social topic, the role of supervisors is becoming increasingly important in creating a safe work environment.
Accordingly, the city prepared this training to strengthen the capabilities of management and supervisors based on the ‘Act on Punishment of Serious Accidents, etc.’
Through the training, cases of each type of disaster at high-risk workplaces, such as environmental sanitation, forestry, and road repair, were shared. In addition, we focused on strengthening industrial accident prevention activities, such as on-site safety and health inspections by management supervisors and the safety of on-site workers.
