DMK MP NR Ilangovan’s son at the scene of a road accident near Keelputhupattu next to PondicherryYeh Died.
Rakesh is the son of DMK state council member NR Ilango from Chennai. He was traveling from Chennai to Pondicherry with his friend in his car for work and was returning to Chennai. The car then collided head-on with a barricade in the middle of the road near Pondicherry.
Rakesh, son of DMK MPNR Ilango, who was traveling in the vehicle, died on the spot. His friend who was traveling with him has been admitted to a private hospital in Pondicherry.
Rakesh’s body was trapped inside the car and firefighters fought for about an hour to recover his body with the help of a JCB machine. Following this, the police seized the body and sent it to the Private Medical College Hospital in Pondicherry for autopsy.
Kottakkuppam police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
