María José Prieto reappeared publicly and faced the media to explain the family present she faces with Cristián Campos, months after the complaint of sexual abuse against his partner became known.
The actress, who was part of a Velvet Magazine event, spoke with follow me from TV+, shedding light on how Campos has faced Raffaella di Girolamo’s legal action.
“It has been an extremely hard year but, despite everything, Cristián is calmer now and we are very well focused,” he said.
Along these lines, María José Prieto confessed that she has not had a stable job for a year, ensuring that Cristián Campos and she were “cancelled.”
“Since the pandemic, it has been disastrous and imagine that not only did they cancel Cristián, they also canceled me. We haven’t worked for a year. (Now we dedicate ourselves to eating our savings and I do theater, but as you know, theater doesn’t do much,” he acknowledged.
But Prieto also had words for the family breakdown that Cristián Campos’ judicial situation meant, since two of his children supported the complaint filed by Raffaella di Girolamo, limiting himself to responding that “his relationship with his daughter is very good. With his daughter Julieta.”
Regarding the case, María José Prieto indicated that she hopes it will end at the end of 2024, since the process “is extremely slow,” since it is based in the old justice system.
