Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that “the military operation launched by his army in the Gaza Strip is nearing its end.”
Netanyahu said: “We are at the beginning of the end of the operation in Gaza, but we have not yet reached the finish line.”
The Israeli Prime Minister announced that his country “revealed a plan prepared by Hezbollah to attack it through underground tunnels that included SUVs and missiles.”
He added in an interview with the French network “CNEWS”: “One hundred to two hundred meters from the border, we found tunnels that were being prepared to invade Israel. It would have been an even bigger attack than the October 7 attack,” continuing: “With four-wheel cars, motorcycles, and missiles. “They were planning an invasion.”
The Israeli army issued a statement regarding its military operations in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip last night.
The statement said, “The Israeli Air Force struck more than 160 targets belonging to Hezbollah, including launching pads and infrastructure sites belonging to the party throughout Lebanon.”
In Gaza, the Israeli army announced “launching raids on the center of the Strip to clear the area of Hamas members and its infrastructure, confirming the arrest of more than 200 Hamas members in Gaza.”
The Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has continued since October 7, 2023, and the number of war casualties has risen to 42,847 dead and 100,544 wounded.
