The Boeing 737-700 aircraft took off last Monday from the Military Transport Air Command, making stops in the Dominican Republic, Portugal and Cyprus, before arriving at the Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, where the nationals boarded.
This humanitarian operation is the result of joint work between the Colombian Air Force and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighting the government’s commitment to supporting its citizens in difficult situations.
The first humanitarian flight took place on October 3, repatriating 117 Colombians. With this second flight, there are now 222 people arriving in Colombian territory from Beirut, reflecting the government’s dedication to guaranteeing their safety.
