On Thursday, October 24, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported an incident at the Israeli embassy in Seoul. An unknown attacker entered the diplomatic mission building and caused damage to property.

Fortunately, no one was injured, as embassy staff were absent due to the holidays.

South Korean authorities said the incident is already under investigation and the search for a suspect is underway. Local law enforcement agencies are working closely with the Israeli embassy to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.

Previously, Cursor reported on the heartbreaking moment when South Korea’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Sangjin Kim, was unable to finish reading a letter from Rachel Goldberg-Paulin addressed to her son Gersh, who is being held hostage by Hamas terrorists.

During the reading, Kim was so moved that his voice trembled, and he turned the floor over to US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield, apologizing for his inability to continue reading.

Additionally, The Wall Street Journal recently published a report providing new details about sexual assault allegations against International Criminal Court (ICC) Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan. These charges, according to the publication, are related to his attempts to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant. According to the WSJ, Khan’s actions against Israel could be aimed at diverting attention from the accusations brought against him personally.

The magazine called for an investigation into the allegations. According to the report, when one of the employees accused Karim Khan of harassment, he initially announced his readiness to resign, but then began to threaten both the complainant and witnesses. A few days after this incident, Khan announced his intentions to take action against Israel.
