Prime Minister Naftali Bennett spoke with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. The two discussed the situation between Russia and Ukraine, as well as efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian citizens. The Prime Minister and the Secretary General agreed to maintain ongoing contact.
“I spoke today with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the situation between Russia and Ukraine,” Bennett wrote, “as well as on humanitarian aid efforts for Ukrainian citizens.”
“We agreed that we will maintain ongoing contact. Israel will continue to act to prevent bloodshed and transfer the parties from the battlefield to the negotiating table.”
