The British government has decided to freeze UK assets of Roman Abramovich. Among them obviously also the Chelsea: the London club will continue to play under a special license, but it cannot be sold (in the past few hours there was talk of negotiations with Josh Harris)nor generate profits, including the sale of tickets (only season ticket holders can go to the stadium) and the merchandising. They probably can’t even be sold O bought footballers.

The Russian oligarch and patron of Chelsea Football Club, Roman Abramovich, was hit by new sanctions with the freezing of assets and the ban on entry into Great Britain, along with six other Russian entrepreneurs. Among the sanctioned, the “king of aluminum” Oleg Deripaskathe CEO of Rosneft, Igor Sechin and Gazprom’s number one Alexei Miller. This was announced by the British Foreign Minister, Liz Truss.
