SC Braga beat SC Farense 2-0, in the 9th round of the Portuguese League.
A sunny day, with around 13 thousand fans in the Pedreira stands. Good start from Gverreiros, looking for the opening goal. At 18′, Paulo Oliveira had the goal, but he couldn’t finish. Despite Arsenal’s dominance, the goal only came in the final moments of the first half. Bruma Gharbi found that she had no hesitation in the right place. 1-0 at half time.
In the second part, more of the same. With two changes at half time (Amine and Gabri), the Gverreiros managed to stay on top of the game. At 52′, Amine came close to making it 2-0, which would come a minute later. On the corner taken by João Moutinho in the 71st minute, Zalazar deflected it and the French-Moroccan striker increased SC Braga’s advantage. A fair and peaceful victory for Minho’s team.
Afterwards, Vitória SC will be welcomed, on October 31, at 6:45 pm, in the League Cup.
