A campaign rally for Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, took place at Madison Square Garden in New York. At the event, which attracted thousands of supporters, Trump criticized US immigration policy, calling undocumented migrants “dangerous criminals” and vowing to launch a massive deportation program on the first day of his potential victory.

In his speech, Trump also harshly criticized his rival, Kamala Harris, describing her as “a person with a very low IQ.” The accusations of racism and harsh language resonated as Trump allies also took the stage and used violent rhetoric, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who said Harris supported terrorists.

Trump touted his foreign policy achievements during his 2017-2021 presidency and said he wouldn’t go to war while in office, although he added that if the United States did go to war with China, “we’d kick their asses.”

“I will stop the chaos in the Middle East and prevent World War III,” Trump told the crowd.

He noted his support among Muslims, some of whom welcomed his promise to end the devastating wars in the Middle East that Israel is waging against the Hamas terrorist group in the Gaza Strip and the Iranian-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon.

“They just want peace, they want peace, and that’s great,” he said of the imams he met in Michigan a day ago.

Critics compared Trump’s rally to famous rallies of the 1930s, accusing him of promoting supremacist sentiment, to which Trump supporters responded that it was an attempt to discredit their movement.
