  • “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms” won the emigrants and is first in Razgrad
  • “New beginning” took Kardzhali and Shumen
  • The young DPS beat the result of the old ones by 4,000 votes in Sofia – region, second strength is in Haskovo, Blagoevgrad, Vratsa, Pazardzhik and Vidin

The Delyan Peevski – Ahmed Dogan clash ended with the victory of “DPS – New Beginning” in the first matchup this Sunday.

Peevski’s people got 281,366 votes, and Dogan’s got 182,263. But abroad, Dogan won, taking 29,496 of his votes in Turkey. And his race with Peevski exceeded the result of the still united DPS in June by over 97,000 votes.

Besides the whole competition with Peevski, Dogan also “lost” his native Pchelarovo. In the village of Generaltoshev, no one has released a ballot for the “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms” (APS) – the formation with which he appeared for the vote. For “DPS – New beginning” there are 53 votes, seven of which are by machine.

However, Dogan was only born in Pchelarovo, his existence is connected with the village of Drandar in Suvorovo, where the APS prevails over “Novo Zacholo”. Dogan’s supporters are 52 against only 18 in favor of Peevski.

The expatriates remained loyal to the honorary chairman, converting

The alliance in the first political power outside the country

– almost every fourth vote abroad went for him. 32,607 are the ballots for APS, while “DPS – New Beginning” has twice as many – 14,332. Reports from the sections in Turkey showed that some voters voted for “New Beginning”, thinking it was the authentic DPS of Dogan. Both abroad and in our country there are voters who preferred to insure themselves by crossing out both number 8 and number 13 in the integral ballot. And their vote became invalid.

In Dubai, Peevski is supported by two voters, and Dogan by four, in Qatar, where Peevski was rumored to have been “sent” just before the elections, neither DPS has any voters.

Peevski and Dogan never came into direct conflict

The honorary chairman chose to be a leader in Kardzhali and Razgrad, while the current co-chairman of DPS chose Blagoevgrad and Haskovo. Although DPS has never admired preference games, their constituents still play them, though not en masse. In total, in the two districts in which each of them appears, Peevski collected 2,500, and Dogan – 892.

In the bastion of the party – Kardzhaliysko, where the battle was expected to be the fiercest, the list led by the mayor of the regional town Errol Mümün gathered almost 31 thousand votes and leads with 2023 before the APS. The mayor faced a direct confrontation with Dogan, who was the first for APS. Beat him not only in total, but also in preferences, almost four times –

1542 in favor of the mayor against 415 for the honorary chairman

Dogan lost in Kardzhali, but won in Razgrad by several rounds – the list led by him collected 41.63% of the vote, or 17,473 votes. “New Beginning” came fourth with less than 7 percent, collecting 6 times fewer votes than APS. The leader sent out by Peevski, former regional governor Sevdjan Surdkeev, collected 3 times less preferences than Dogan.

Peevski, at the head of the list in Haskovo, has more than 10,000 votes more than the people of APS and is the second political force in the district after GERB-SDS. The “New Beginning” has even increased by a hundred people the support that the still unified DPS gathered in the district in June – then 16,856 voted for them. Now the APS adds a little over 6,000 votes to the total count.

And in the Blagoevgrad region, where Peevski was the leader, the formation is in second place. His people there have collected 21.5%, while the APS has only 7.11%.

The victory of “New Beginning” over APS there is in the ratio 3:1

In the Belish village of Babyak, where Peevski chose to vote, his formation is the absolute favorite. Out of a total of 245 voters, 240 are for the “New Beginning” list, four are for APS and one – for PP-DB. He also collected 31 preferences. In addition, there was a mobile section in the villages of Babyak and Kraishte, from which another 95 of the total 127 votes cast came to his account. There are only five for APS. For Peevski, there is not a single preference here.

In the village of Atia in Burgas, on whose land one of Dogan’s former palaces is located – the residence near Rosenets, from which he was evicted, there is parity – 4 to 4 votes.

“New Beginning” is the leader in the Shumen region, where they won 24.94% of the vote, or 13,516 votes. APS is fifth, with just under 6,000 votes.

The young DPS is the second force in Pazardzhik, where Peevski was the leader of the DPS in previous years. In the district, it gathers support of about 19 percent and takes nearly 12,000 more votes than the formation behind Dogan.

In the Montana region, every fourth vote was for the “New Beginning” (for processed by the CEC 92% – note ed.)only 211 were behind Dogan’s farmers. Although with a smaller percentage, the formation is also second in Vratsa and Vidin. “New Beginning” is the third force in Veliko Tarnovo, Burgas, Kyustendil.

In Smolyan there is a preponderance of ASP. The coalition is second after GERB with the collected support of 8,867 people, “New Beginning” has twice as many votes, but is third in the ranking.

Peevski’s breakthrough in Sofia – an area where there are almost no Muslims – is extremely big. He increases by 4,000 votes the support that DPS secured here 4 months ago. The leader of “New Beginning” was the former Minister of the Interior Kalin Stoyanov, and his list is third, with only 59 votes behind the second-placed “Vazrazhdane”. There are almost 1,000 votes for APS in the district.

In the capital’s 25th MIR, Peevski leads Dogan by a ratio of 2:1, in total they have just over 2,500 votes. In the 24th MIR, their results are almost the same, while in the 23rd they are almost equal – 1804 for “New Beginning”, against 1432 for APS. In Gabrovo, the two political forces also have similar results, with an advantage for APS and almost 3,000 votes in total.

The performance of both formations in Yambol region is weak

– “New Beginning” is fifth with nearly 3,000 votes, and APS is eighth (ninth if you count “I do not support anyone”) with just over 860 ballots.

In Stara Zagora, “New Beginning” is third, supported by 13,848 people – over 11,000 more than those for APS. 2:1 is the result in favor of Peevski in Ruse and Pleven, 3:1 in Sliven. In Silistra, Dogan’s people are first with 11,249 votes, three times more than those for “New Beginning”. APS leads by about 2,000 votes in the Plovdiv region, but “Novoto nacholo” gets 3,000 more in the city. In Pernik, Peevski’s people have over a thousand votes, and Dogan’s – just over 100.
