BOLZANO. There is a watch worth over 8,000 euros; there are handbags from well-known brands; electric mountain bikes, one of which has a list value of over 9,000 euros; sportswear, liquors, perfumes, many electronic devices and countless other objects. A small treasure that from today, October 28th, until November 8th, will be put up for sale electronically on the websites of the Judicial Sales Institute of the Court of Bolzano.

A treasure at auction

These are not lost objects nor a bankruptcy auction, but goods confiscated during this year by the Bolzano Customs Office from people who, trying to circumvent the regulations and not pay VAT, had bought them online. abroad, to bring them to Italy. Purchases made not only abroad, but also and above all in nearby Livigno, a very Italian town that enjoys the status of a duty-free zone. Some even did it in a naive way, completely ignoring the rules. Already at the beginning of the year a similar online auction was held for the size of the objects which had an excellent success. Because there are only new items on sale, as they are still in the packaging and having been confiscated in recent months, they are both items of clothing and latest generation electronic devices.

The rules

The method is eBay style: from tomorrow, in fact, to see the objects and make an offer, simply connect to www.astalegale.net (click on the “movable goods” section in the court window, enter Bolzano and click “search”) or on the www.tribunale.bolzano.it (open the “judicial sales” window and click on “movable property auctions”). Until November 8, it will be possible to “relaunch” with new offers and at the end of the auction, whoever bid the most will obviously win the object. In all, from tomorrow more than thirty lots will go to auction, some of which also composed of different objects. There are many reasons to get on the computer and take a look at the sites. With a bit of luck, you could find what you may have been looking for for a long time and, what’s more, at a more than advantageous price. And without the risk of the Financial Police and the Customs Office seizing it.
