TV host Gabriel seems very disappointed and now plans to leave Emily in Paris
Lucas Bravo, the star of “Emily in Paris”, spoke to the French newspaper ‘Le Figaro’ and what he said should be related to Darren Starr, the creator of the rom-com series. In other words, he will have to take his words very seriously if he wants Gabriel’s role to continue in season six.
Because Lucas Bravo has said that he does not want to continue beyond the end of season five, not only because he does not like his role and how it has developed, but because Emily in Paris insults the audience’s intelligence .
The 36-year-old French actor, who is famous worldwide from the Netflix series, also criticized Gabriel and Emily’s relationship, saying that “everything is based on a lack of communication” and said that ” everything a bit archaic. Nowadays, the new generation uses words, they argue, and that doesn’t work in our case, we don’t understand each other.”
Lucas Bravo’s discontent is nothing new. In the past his objections have been voiced again about where the story is going and how his role is changing. As early as September he said “I don’t like what happened and where this story is going. You know, at the end of the day, I’m just an actor and I’m here to say my lines, but, yeah, it’s kind of weird. I don’t understand it anymore. But we’ll see… Darren Starr has plans. I follow them.”
Lucas Bravo is so frustrated that he admitted he was thinking about going into the fifth season, much of which will be shot in Rome. “Life is short,” said Lucas Bravo and continued: “It takes five months to shoot this series. Do I want to sacrifice them by telling a story that doesn’t interest me?”
After the release of Emily in Paris, which came into our lives during quarantine and became an inevitable hit, when we were looking for a pleasant comedy, Lucas Bravo continued to star in major productions. In 2022 he was in ‘Ticket to Paradise’, with Julia Roberts and George Clooney.
Next month he will also appear in Libre, a French biopic about the notorious bandit Bruno Soulac, who became known for his spectacular escapes. The film will be released on Amazon Prime.
