Britain imposed sanctions today on three Russian agencies and three heads of those agencies, who, according to London, tried to use disinformation to “undermine and destabilize Ukraine and its democracy”, reported Reuters.
Britain’s Foreign Office has announced that the Agency for Social Design (ASP, a Russian technology company) and its partner firm Struktura have attempted to carry out a series of “interference actions” aimed at weakening international support for Ukraine, informs Reuters.
According to TASS, the third sanctioned company is ANO “Dialog” (an autonomous non-profit organization), whose field of activity covers communications, BTA reported.
The sanctioned people are the director of ASP and “Struktura” Ilya Gambashidze, the program director of ASP Andrey Perla and the general director of “Struktura” Nikolay Tupikin, specifies TASS.
“Today’s sanctions send a clear message that we will not tolerate your lies and interference – we are coming for you,” British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said in a statement, quoted by Reuters.
