Election strategist Prashant Kishore has termed the current state election results as a ‘misrepresentation’ of Prime Minister Modi’s association with the 2024 parliamentary election results.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the BJP’s victory in the four state elections will set the direction for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024.
Speaking at the BJP headquarters in Delhi in the context of retaining BJP rule in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur, Prime Minister Modi said, Success is decisive. ”
However, election strategist Prashant Kishore did not agree with Prime Minister Modi’s assessment. He tweeted, “The war for India will not be decided by holding any state elections except by fighting in 2024 and ending immediately. The Prime Minister knows this, so it is a prudent attempt to create a decisive psychological advantage by presenting the results of the state election. Do not fall into this misrepresentation. ”
Interestingly, in an interview in January, Prashant Kishore said, “Even if the BJP wins all the rounds in this round, it is possible to embrace the BJP’s defeat in 2024. In 2012, the Samajwadi Party in UP, the Congress in Uttarakhand, Manipur and the Akali Dal in Punjab won. , But it did not resonate in 2014. ”
He added, “The BJP is in a weak position in southern India and in states like Bihar, West Bengal and Odisha, which together have about 200 Lok Sabha seats.
Prashant Kishore was part of Narendra Modi’s strategy class for the BJP’s parliamentary election victory in 2014, when it ruled India with a simple majority after 30 years.
