Liberian Minister of Foreign Affairs hails the pioneering role of His Majesty the King in Africa (Joint Press Release)

Rabat – The Liberian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sara Beysolow Nyanti, welcomed, Thursday in Rabat, the pioneering role played by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in the political, economic, security and religious fields in Africa.

In a joint press release published at the end of her meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita, Ms. Nyanti notably welcomed the enlightened initiative of His Majesty the King to promote access of the Sahel States to the Atlantic Ocean, with a view to making the African Atlantic space a pragmatic and appropriate geostrategic framework for intra-African cooperation and consultation.

In this regard, the head of Liberian diplomacy welcomed the opportunity offered by this Royal Initiative which aims to connect the Sahel States to the transport and communication networks of their regional environment.

Furthermore, the two ministers reiterated their determination to contribute to efforts to resolve disputes in Africa, while welcoming the constant efforts made by the Kingdom of Morocco, under the wise and enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God Assists him, and by the Republic of Liberia, under the leadership of His Brother, His Excellency President Joseph Boakai, in favor of peace and sustainable development in Africa, we read in the Joint Communiqué.

Referring to regional and international issues of common interest, Mr. Bourita and Ms. Nyanti noted with satisfaction their convergence of views on the various issues raised.
