Gurugram: A major untoward incident has come to light in Gurugram, Haryana, adjacent to Delhi. Four people were burnt alive in a fire that broke out in a rented room due to short circuit late night in Saraswati Enclave area of Gurugram. According to information received from the police, the deceased have been identified as Noor Alam (27), Sahil (22), Aman (17) and Mohammad Mushtaq (22). All of them are residents of Bihar. Police said that all the deceased worked in a garments company.The fire spread throughout the room and became fatal.
Initial investigation has revealed that the fire first broke out in an electrical appliance installed in the room and later it spread throughout the room. Actually, the place where the fire broke out is a four-storey building and this accident happened on the first floor. On receiving information, fire tenders reached the spot to extinguish the fire.
When did the incident happen?
According to the neighbours, the incident happened around 12.30 am and they immediately informed the fire department and local police. Giving information, a neighbor said that although we tried to break into the room, it was locked from inside. He said the fire broke out only in the room where the four people were sleeping.
The cause of the fire was not known
He said that immediately after the incident, fire brigade officials reached the spot and extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire has not been known. Officials said that the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are not yet known. The bodies of the deceased have been recovered from the spot.
Investigation into the case continues
A fire official said bodies of four people had been recovered. All these people were sleeping in their rooms. Officials said the fire may have been caused by a short-circuit, but the investigation is ongoing.
PNG pipeline fireOn the other hand, a sudden fire broke out in the PNG pipeline near Sector 83 M Block of BPTP police station area of Greater Faridabad at around 9 pm on Wednesday night. On this, the passersby passing by called dial 112 and informed the police. Dial 112 team called the fire brigade and extinguished the fire. On Wednesday night at around 9 pm, someone called the police and informed that there was a fire in the PNG pipeline near M Block in Sector 83.
