EALA celebrates the role of President Museveni.

Entebbe hosts EALA, marking a special tribute to Museveni’s visionary leadership in East Africa and beyond.

Entebbe (United Kingdom), 23/10/2024 – As part of Barundi foreign policy and integration within the East African Community (EAC)a special session of theEast African Legislative Assembly (EALA) is held from October 21 to November 12, 2024 at the State House Entebbe and the Ugandan Parliament.
During this event, in the presence of the Honorable Among Anita, Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda, and Mr. Todwong Richard, Secretary General of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), the president of EALA, the honorable Ntakirutimana Joseph (Burundi)warmly welcomed Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Ntakirutimana expressed the honor felt by the Assembly to be recognized by President Museveni, and congratulated him for his essential role in the political transformation and development of the region.
