He Mexico City Grand Prix will provide an economic benefit of 17 thousand 937 million pesosand 0.9% more than last year, estimated the capital’s National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism.

José de Jesús Rodríguez Cárdenas, president of the Canaco CDMX, projected that the ninth edition of the Grand Prize of Mexico, is made up of 7 thousand 199 million pesos for media coverage, 296 million 113 thousand pesos for lodging, 6 thousand 795 million for ticket sales and consumption and close to 3 thousand 647 million pesos for tourist services.

The trade leader legally established in the country’s capital considered that the event will mainly benefit the tertiary sector due to the large influx of national visitors y foreigners that they will arrive.

He announced that the expected hotel occupancy will be between 63% and 68% and specified that 93% of visitors will stay in the areas surrounding the Hermanos Rodríguez Autodrome.

The president of the organization reported that the most dynamic areas will be: lodging, ticketing, advertising and restaurants.

He remembered that the Mexican Grand Prix is recognized as the best of the year by the International Automobile Federation (FIA)
