India captain Rohit Sharma has described Ravichandran Aswin as one of the greatest bowlers the Indian team has ever found. He is also hailed as the best spin bowler of all time.
Aswin took 6 wickets in the recent Test match against Sri Lanka. Rohit Sharma said this after the match.
But former Pakistan wicketkeeper Rashid Latdeep, who was outraged to hear this, said Rohit Sharma was wrong. Ravichandran Aswin throws well only at the Indian ground.
Kapil Dev and Anil Kumble of the Indian team also bowl well on outdoor soil. But Ravichandran Aswin did not perform so well on the outside soil.
Despite Aswin bowling well in Tests, Latdeep says he has taken only 212 wickets in 164 ODIs for India so far.
Rashid Latdeep and Rohit Sharma have also spoken out against the Indian team saying that there are a lot of better bowlers than him.
