Schumacher recently appeared on the channel one of the rare interviews he did about his active career and also spoke openly about his time with his brother Michael. If you have any questions about this, you can discuss and clarify them with him on Wednesday. What is important is that Ralf will not comment on Michíl’s health.
With six Grand Prix victories, Schumacher is the fourth most successful driver in the history of Formula 1. He ended his active career in the premier class with Toyota at the end of 2007. Recently, however, he drove another race car and successfully very good at it. With a roof over his head and in a team with his son David.
Today he is a top player: as a Formula 1 expert for pay-TV provider Sky, as David’s manager, as a behind-the-scenes puller in German motorsport and as a winemaker. His wines are very popular with our regular table hosts. If you would also like to order one of his fine wines, you can do so via schumacher-wines.com.
Ralf Schumacher was born in Hürth on June 30, 1975 as the younger brother of today’s Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher. In 1995 he was second in Formula 3 Germany (behind Norberto Fontana) and champion in Formula Nippon in Japan in 1996, together with his supervisor at the time Franz Tost, who still assures Ralf today that the that he had to do. world champion in terms of talent.
He had an excellent career in Formula 1, but never quite hit his stride. In 2001 and 2002, Schumacher was fourth in the World Championship with Williams-BMW, but never made it to the World Cup podium. Also because serious accidents threw him off the road.
Today he is at peace with all that he has achieved in motorsport and does not lament what could have been. And he lives a happy life, together with his partner Etienne and his son David. By the way, in the cold winter he prefers to be in sunny Africa, where he goes with the Villa Coloniale near Cape Town runs a guest house.
