Double Sinner – Bolelli defeated, Slovakia ahead of Italy in Davis Cup – Sport

ROMA. Italy are 1-2 behind with Slovakia in the ongoing challenge in Bratislava for admission to the group stage of the 2022 Davis Cup.

The unprecedented blue couple formed by Jannik Sinner and Simone Bolelli was beaten by Filip Polasek and Igor Zelanay for 2-1, with a score of 6-3, 1-6, 7-6.

Now Sinner will return to the field to balance the accounts, forced to win against Filip Horansky. The last singles will follow, between Lorenzo Sonego and Norbert Gombos.
