Virat Kohli has been a regular in the RCB squad since the 15th season of the IPL. So the RCB team, which was forced to appoint a new captain for the 15th season of the IPL, picked players for the captaincy of Duplessis and Dinesh Karthik in the auction.
Duplessis has been named captain of the RCB squad, with Faff Duplessis and Glenn Maxwell expected to be named captain.
Duplessis, the former captain of the South African team, is more experienced in captaincy. Having been the match winner of the CSK team in the IPL for many years, his appointment will add strength to the RCB team.
