Chinese scientists announced on Sunday that they can use other countries’ military radars to locate and track ships.

This came‌ as the Chinese newspaper “South China Morning Post” reported today, which indicated that those who announced this matter were researchers specialized in the maritime military ‌field.

The⁤ researchers explained that their new research made it possible for them to use radar signals from other countries to track commercial ships.

This includes signals from⁢ ground-based radar stations, warship radar‍ signals, or even signals from early warning radars.

The ⁤newspaper pointed out that ‍Chinese researchers explained that they can do this using simple technical means such as a laptop computer and an “antenna,” noting that these tools enable ⁤them to decode the codes and signals of other countries’ military radars.

China continues to‍ develop tremendous military technologies that have ‍allowed its army to possess the⁣ latest weapons and defensive systems, in parallel with the contribution of military industries to⁢ developing civilian economic sectors and strengthening its research base.

Interview with a Time Traveler: A Journey Through Time with Chronos McAdams

Interviewer (Sam): Welcome, everyone, to a special edition of Time.new! Today, we ‍have the unique opportunity to speak with Chronos McAdams, an extraordinary time ⁤traveler. Thank you for joining us, Chronos!

Chronos: Thanks for ‍having ‍me, Sam! ‍It’s ‍great to be here in the present—a notion I sometimes take for granted.

Sam: Let’s dive right in!‍ What first inspired you to become a time traveler?

Chronos: It was a mix of fascination and a bit of escapism. I grew up ⁤reading science‌ fiction, and I always dreamed of⁣ experiencing history firsthand. The idea ‌of being able to witness pivotal moments—from the Renaissance to the moon landing—was‍ simply irresistible.

Sam: That ‌sounds incredible! What was ⁢your first destination, and what was it like?

Chronos: My first stop was ⁢Ancient Rome⁢ in 44 BCE. The atmosphere was electric! I got to witness the Senate‍ in session, which was quite different from my history books. It felt surreal to walk ⁢through bustling streets, hear Latin being spoken,⁣ and see ⁢the ancient architecture up close.

Sam: Wow! Did you get into any trouble ‍during your travels?

Chronos: (laughs) More than ‍I’d like to admit! One‌ time, I⁢ accidentally interrupted a philosophical debate ‌held by Cicero⁢ himself. He had a strong‍ opinion about time travel, by the way!

Sam: That must have been quite the encounter! As a time traveler, how do you ensure you⁢ don’t alter⁤ historical events?

Chronos: Great question! ⁢We follow something called the Temporal Ethics Protocol. It’s crucial we remain invisible and avoid any actions that⁤ could have ripple effects. Think of it like a personal ⁢“no-touch” policy.

Sam: Have ⁤you ever faced temptation to change something in history?

Chronos: Absolutely! There have been⁢ moments when I thought, “If I just nudged this event…” But the risks outweigh the rewards. Plus, every moment,⁢ no matter how dark,⁣ has contributed to who we are today.

Sam: Very insightful! So, in your experience, which era‍ has surprised you‍ the most?

Chronos: The Roaring ‍Twenties! I expected glitz and glamour but found an era grappling with social change, economic highs, and lows, ‍and⁣ a vibrant cultural revolution. The energy of jazz clubs had me‍ dancing in the streets!

Sam: That sounds like ‌a blast! Speaking of culture, how do‍ you think modern technology influences our understanding of history?

Chronos: Technology is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it makes ⁤history more accessible, allowing us to explore different ⁤perspectives. On the other, there’s misinformation. It’s⁣ crucial‌ to verify sources. The past needs careful stewardship!

Sam: Wise words, Chronos. If someone could travel with⁢ you, what three key items would you recommend ⁤they take?

Chronos: ‍Good⁢ question! First, a reliable timepiece—of ⁣course! Second, a journal for notes; personal insights‍ are invaluable. ⁢a universal translator—trust me, it’s a lifesaver when ‌trying to communicate in different ⁢languages.

Sam: Those are⁤ solid recommendations. ‌Before we wrap up, ‍what’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone dreaming of‍ time travel?

Chronos: Embrace curiosity! Whether ‌it’s through books, films, or⁢ documentaries,‍ explore as much as you ‌can. And remember, history is not just about dates⁢ and events; it’s about the people who lived it.

Sam: Thank you, Chronos, for your adventurous spirit and fascinating insights. Your stories ⁤have‍ truly transported us today!

Chronos: Thank you, ⁤Sam! It’s been a pleasure. And remember, time is always moving, so ⁢make the most of ‌every ‍moment!

Sam: And that wraps up our‍ special feature with Chronos McAdams. Stay tuned for more stories from the realm of Time.new!
