Bonghwa-gun is doing its best ‌to secure‌ national ​funds. Bonghwa-gun ⁢is making every effort to secure national funds by visiting the central government on October 22nd, the Gyeongbuk ​Province Governor on the 23rd, and visiting the National Assembly on the 28th to request support for key ⁢projects.

Park Hyeon-guk, mayor of Bonghwa County, said, “The K-Vietnam Valley ⁤development project, a core project of ⁢our county, is ‌a country-to-nation cultural and ⁢tourism cooperation ⁣project that‌ connects the past and future of ⁢both Korea and Vietnam, and active support from the government is essential.”

He⁤ continued, “Since the early construction of the Bonghwa pumped storage power⁣ plant and‍ the early construction of ⁢the North-South⁤ 9-axis ⁣highway ‍are essential projects⁣ for Bonghwa-gun, we will‍ establish a cooperative system ​with related ministries and the National Assembly to smoothly promote these⁣ projects⁣ and focus ‍our administrative power⁣ on securing national highway funds.” .

Meanwhile, NH Nonghyup Bank’s Bonghwa-gun branch donated 613 bags of new rice (equivalent to approximately 15 million won) for‌ low-income and vulnerable groups in ⁢the district ‌at ‌the lawn plaza of⁤ Bonghwa-gun Office on the 29th.

This event, designed to ​support⁢ the underprivileged in the region‌ and promote​ rice consumption, was held with⁤ the attendance of Bonghwa-gun Mayor Park Hyun-guk, NH Nonghyup Bank Bonghwa-gun branch manager‍ Kim Kang-hoon, and county and Nonghyup officials.

The donated goods will be ‍donated to the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of‍ Korea and delivered to low-income groups in towns and villages within the jurisdiction and the Bonghwa Regional Self-Sufficiency Center.
