A short time ago, a car accident occurred on Yoseftal Street in Ashdod when a vehicle hit an electric bicycle rider. According to the suspicion, the offending vehicle fled the scene.

The 35-year-old cyclist was moderately injured and medical forces, Rescue Union, MDA and MDA Rescue teams were called to the scene. They gave him medical treatment and he was taken to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod with a head injury.

Menachem Eichler, a paramedic from the Rescue Union, said: “With the help of other paramedics who were in the vicinity of the scene, we provided him with first aid after he was injured in an accident involving a private vehicle. He is being treated at Assuta Medical Center.

“I arrived at the scene of the accident and noticed a 35-year-old man suffering from head and limb injuries lying on the road after being hit by a vehicle while riding an electric bicycle,” said MDA Rescue South driver Eliezer Stisel, who arrived at the scene on a MDA motorcycle.
