Amritsar: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Bhagwant Singh Mann has demanded the governor’s right to rule Punjab. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has won 92 of the 117 seats in the Punjab Assembly elections. During this election, Bhagwant Singh Mann was announced as the party’s chief ministerial candidate. After winning the election, he went to Delhi the day before yesterday and met party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Later, on his return to Punjab, he met Purohit yesterday morning by Governor Banwar and demanded the right to form a government. Later, in an interview outside the Governor’s House, he said, ‘I gave the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs a letter of support and demanded the right to form a government. The inauguration ceremony will be held on the 16th at 12.30 pm in Bhagat Singh’s birth village of Katkargalan. I invite all the people of Punjab to take part in this, ”he said.

Asked about the appointment of ministers, Bhagwant Mann said, “A good cabinet will be formed. In this, historically significant decisions will be made. No one should compete for the post of Minister. Those who do not get the post should focus on the block work, ” he said.

Bhagwant Mann, the Chief Minister of Punjab, contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party and became an MP. He was a heavy drinker then. He would come to the Lok Sabha drunk and staggering. There was also an incident where an MP sitting next to him wrote a letter to the Speaker asking him to change his seat as he could not stand the smell of alcohol. He would go to public places with his supporters intoxicated. His news has been in the news in the national media for a long time. Now he has completely given up and changed his alcohol habit.
