US President Joe Biden authorized the allocation of additional military assistance to Ukraine for $ 200 million, follows from a memorandum sent to the US State Department.

On February 26, Washington already authorized $350 million in military supplies to Ukraine, the largest military aid package in US history.

The funds will be spent on defense products and services of the Pentagon, as well as training and education of specialists.

In the fall of 2021, Washington authorized $60 million worth of military assistance to Ukraine, and in December allocated another $200 million for weapons and ammunition. In March, Biden ruled out direct US action in Ukraine, saying it would lead to a world war.

On March 11, EU leaders agreed to double military aid to Ukraine with an additional €500 million.
