According to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Commission, 79,599 cases have been settled in the National Lok Adalat held across Tamil Nadu.

People’s Court ‘National Lok Adalat’ was held all over Tamil Nadu. Of these, 4 sessions were held in the Chennai I-Court, 4 sessions in the Madurai I-Court and a total of 419 sessions across the state at the district and taluka levels to resolve cases.
Of this, 79 thousand 599 cases worth 334 crore 91 lakh 11 thousand 545 rupees have been settled. This includes 63,348 cases pending in court and 12,251 cases pending before the courts.
In addition, in 2,004 Czech fraud cases, 49 crore 97 lakh 23 thousand 381 rupees have been negotiated between the two parties and in 3 thousand 157 motor vehicle accident cases 144 crore 85 lakh 25 thousand 246 rupees has been paid as compensation.
It has also been informed that out of 7 thousand 301 civil cases 33 crore 60 lakh 32 thousand 130 rupees have been paid, 106 family welfare cases have been settled in this Lok Adalat and in 20 cases related to labor issue 71 lakh 50 thousand 900 rupees has been paid as compensation.
