Kyiv: A Ukrainian woman who went out to buy medicine for her ailing mother has been killed in a Russian tank attack. Valeria Maxetska, who worked for a US-backed NGO, was killed. In addition, their mother Irina and the driver of the car, Yaroslav, were killed. The incident took place in a small town west of Kiev.
Valeria was there to help the people of Kiev who were suffering from Russian military siege. However, they went out to buy medicine after their mother became ill. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a Russian military base.
Samantha Power, the organization’s administrator, confirmed that three people had been killed in the attack. They accused the Russian military of having the notoriety of killing a brave girl on her 32nd birthday.
