Tel Aviv,

Russia launched its offensive against Ukraine on February 24. Russian forces are intensifying their siege of the Ukrainian capital. The Ukrainian military, on the other hand, is retaliating.

There have been heavy casualties on both sides in this war. The war has so far displaced 2.5 million people and taken refuge in neighboring Poland, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. As the war continues today for the 18th day in a row, Russia’s attack on Ukraine has intensified.

Russia, meanwhile, has blamed the United Nations for the attack. The Council, NATO and various parts of the world have strongly condemned it. The international community has imposed unprecedented sanctions on Russia. However, the ceasefire has not been successful and the war is still going on.

In this situation, the people of Israel protested against Russian President Putin in the capital. About 400 Israelis rallied at the Israeli Junction in Tel Aviv. They chanted slogans condemning the Russian president and calling for an immediate end to the war.

As well as the protesters who gathered in front of the house of Israeli Interior Minister Ayelet Zaket, they welcomed the arrival of refugees from Ukraine. They also called for action to provide asylum to people from Ukraine.
