Tonight at the Allianz Arena in Munich we play Italy-Belgium, challenge for the quarter-finals of the European Championships. Up for grabs a place in the semifinals and, for the Azzurri, the chance to play practically at home.
Of the 14,500 fans who will be admitted to the stadium, with the reduced capacity to prevent infections from Covid-19, 10,000 will be Italian.
How is it possible? The two federations were only given 1,000 tickets, while the others were sold in Germany and 50,000 live in Bavaria expat Italians.
The tickets were therefore sold out in a few hours and certainly there would have been the possibility of filling the stadium in any order of seats, had it not been for a health precaution. So let’s expect to experience a real Blue Night … and we hope it will be another magical night.
