Trump’s biggest problem is the elites who will stand in his way
In the early days of Ron Paul’s movement, there was a hopeful base of support for a new era of conservatism that embraced liberalism and the recognition that most “conspiracy theories” were actually conspiracies.
It was the kind of catalyst needed to break the long-standing false paradigm of neoconservatives vs. Democrats.
It was the beginning of the conservative uprising that we see happening today.
How things have changed
Things have changed.
First, Neocons are almost universally hated by true conservatives.
So much so that it forced these politicians to show their true colors and side with Democrats like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
We’re not going to see people like Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney or Lindsay Graham taken very seriously by anyone anymore.
A return to true conservative philosophy has begun, and this time it doesn’t seem like it will go away like the Barry Goldwater era of the 1960s.
The concept of limited government, ending debt spending, sound money, removing elitist NGOs from political influence, tough stance against globalization, legitimate border security, meritocracy, rejection of progressive deconstruction, and moral relativism, these are key conservative principles all.
Such ideas have been dismissed as “archaic” and ”barbaric” for many years because they threaten the structures that keep establishment elites in power.
Today they are coming back.
The role of Donald Trump
Some people will say it’s because of Donald Trump, but that’s not true.
This movement was developing into a juggernaut long before Trump, although he is certainly riding the wave as it comes to fruition.
The question is, will Trump deliver justice this week?
Because the biggest problem is the Elites who will put obstacles in his way.
But, at least he’s not promoting transgender procedures for children or a Third World War with Russia like the Democrats did.
There are already millions of conservatives that Trump has put under the microscope, however.
His mistakes are regularly recorded by the people who voted for him in the first place.
The left dare not do this in their own circles.
They don’t care about politics, they only care about power.
No conservative is going to change his mind on border security, illegal deportation, shrinking government, ending America’s involvement in the Ukraine war, and ending child crossings at the federal level.
These will eventually happen with or without Trump.
The multifaceted struggle
Most economic conservatives know that if Trump returns to the White House, the sophisticated manipulation of economic and job data by the Biden/Harris administration will come to an abrupt halt.
That is, the real data will come out and look really bad.
The media will immediately accuse Trump and conservatives of destroying the economy.
In addition, conservatives will inherit two separate wars from the Democrats – the war with Russia through Ukraine and the war with Iran through Israel.
Both of these situations have the potential to escalate into world war.
And Trump may not be able to keep America out of it even if he wants to.
There are too many dominoes in motion.
Then there’s the potential domestic fallout from a Trump victory with leftists up in arms across the country.
The goal of the leftist crowd is to force conservatives to behave just like the “fascists” activists accuse them of.

Interview Between Time.news Editor and Political Expert on Trump’s Conservative Movement
Time.news Editor: Welcome to our interview today! We have with us a renowned political expert who will help us unpack the complexities of the current conservative movement and Donald Trump’s role in it. Thank you for joining us!
Political Expert: Thank you for having me! It’s a pleasure to be here.
Editor: Let’s dive right into the conversation. The article you contributed to mentions a renaissance of conservative principles that challenge the old guard neoconservatives. What triggered this shift?
Expert: Absolutely, the turning point can be traced back to movements like Ron Paul’s, which encouraged a embrace of both conservative and liberal ideas that focused on personal liberty, limited government, and transparency. The accusation of “conspiracy theories” began to lose its sting as real conspiracies became evident to the public. This foundation has mobilized a more grassroots movement that is increasingly vocal against establishment figures.
Editor: You mentioned in your article that neoconservatives are losing credibility among true conservatives. Can you expand on that?
Expert: Yes, it’s quite remarkable. Figures like Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney are now seen as part of a discredited elite that fails to resonate with the core values of today’s conservatism. Their alliances with Democrats highlight a fracture in what many perceive as an outdated ideology. Conservatives are now more interested in principles like fiscal responsibility, border security, and rejecting progressive policies than ever before.
Editor: With this resurgence of conservative principles, where does Donald Trump fit into this picture? Is he leading this movement, or simply riding its wave?
Expert: That’s a nuanced question. While many attribute this revival to Trump, the reality is that the movement was gaining momentum well before his emergence. Trump has become a vessel for these ideas, amplifying the voices of those advocating for a return to conservative fundamentals. However, it’s crucial to recognize that his success hinges on addressing the elite obstacles standing in the way of real change.
Editor: You mentioned the challenges posed by elites. Can you elaborate on what you mean by that?
Expert: Certainly. The elites, encompassing both political figures and powerful organizations, have historically maintained control by pushing narratives that preserve the status quo. The principles of limited government and sound fiscal policy threaten their power base. Therefore, whenever someone like Trump tries to advocate for these ideas, he inevitably faces backlash from those who have a vested interest in maintaining control.
Editor: The fear of losing power can create significant obstacles. Do you think Trump is equipped to navigate these challenges?
Expert: It remains to be seen. While he has galvanized millions of conservatives, he will need to demonstrate that he can effectively counteract the elites’ influence in a substantive way. His ability to deliver on the principles that resonate with his base will be critical, especially when facing a political landscape fraught with opposition.
Editor: Switching gears a bit, how do you see this movement influencing the broader political landscape in the U.S.?
Expert: We could be on the cusp of a significant shift. If true conservative principles gain traction, they may redefine not only the Republican Party but also force Democrats to reevaluate their positions. You have voters who are disillusioned with traditional politics, and a movement centered on accountability, smaller government, and national sovereignty could attract them.
Editor: That’s fascinating insight! Before we wrap up, what do you think will be the key for conservatives moving forward?
Expert: The key will be unity among conservatives to resist infighting and opportunism. They must hold onto their core values, engage with voters authentically, and work to dismantle the elitist barriers that inhibit change. If they manage to do this, we could see a true reshaping of American politics.
Editor: Thank you for your insights! It’s clear that the conversation around conservatism in America is evolving, and I look forward to seeing how it unfolds.
Expert: Thank you! It’s an exciting time in politics, and I appreciate the opportunity to discuss these important issues.
