Pedro Machado was born in 1933 and stood out as a musician, composer, producer, agent, representative of fado houses and self-taught.
He was the founder and leader of Os Três de Portugal, a successful trio created in 1957 that took the name of the country across borders.
As representative of fado houses in Porto and Brazil, producer and agent hired big names such as Carlos do Carmo, Simone de Oliveira, Cidália Moreira, Florência, Maria Valejo, among many others.
In 2002, he ended his professional career, but continued to organize musical initiatives, especially with the amateurs, and also at Casa do Artista, where he held several cultural sessions.
Since 2012 living in The Artist’s HousePedro Machado, who married the fado singer Isabel Pinheiro twice, continued the work to bring his fellow musicians closer to the institution.
