Ouezzane: The INDH offers a second chance to young people out of school

by times news cr

The 2nd chance socio-professional center “Dar Dmana” – new generation, under the Provincial Directorate of the ⁤Ministry of National Education, Preschool⁢ and‍ Sports, is an establishment specializing in educational ⁤qualification and professional integration, offering young people out of school the basic skills essential to⁢ join formal education, follow vocational training or learn a profession, with a view ‌to facilitating⁤ their integration ‌into socio-professional life.

As part of‍ a participatory approach⁤ aimed at ensuring the success of the center in its missions, the INDH provided the necessary support ‌in terms of equipment and management, in order ⁣to enable the center to offer beneficiaries professional training of quality for their reintegration into the education⁤ system or the continuation of their training with a view to acquiring the essential skills to access the job market.

In this regard, Kawtar Loukili,‍ head of department at the Social Action Division (DAS) of the ‍province of Ouezzane, underlined⁤ that the INDH provided significant support to the⁤ 2nd chance center⁣ of Ouezzane, through the equipment of three artisanal workshops dedicated to sewing, hairdressing‍ and computer and telephone maintenance.

In‌ this regard, she noted that this support was at the heart of a cooperation project in 2022, within the framework of the 4th program “Improving⁤ human capital for rising generations” of the third phase of⁢ the INDH,⁣ noting that This funding is part of the Initiative’s efforts to combat school dropouts and enable children and young people to acquire certain skills and professions likely⁤ to promote their integration into the labor market.

“The beneficiaries of the center receive academic and educational courses allowing them to improve their level of knowledge, while acquiring the necessary skills for these professions, which⁢ represent an entry point to the job market or⁤ for the launch‌ of personal projects “, she ⁣said, adding ⁣that the INDH supported similar projects in other⁣ municipalities in the⁣ province, ⁣notably in Brikcha and Sidi Redouane.

Indeed, the MAP has noted the clear interest of a group of young people who follow their training with great ⁣attention and ⁤desire to learn skills ⁢allowing them to access the job⁤ market or launch ⁢their own projects, with ‍a view to succeeding in their professional integration in the medium‍ term, ‌since their training program ‍combines theoretical courses, practical work and interactive discussions between trainers and trainees.

The INDH thus‌ financed the equipment of three training workshops in Ouezzzane, namely the sewing and tailoring workshop, where integrated equipment was made‍ available to trainees, as well as the hairdressing ⁣and clothing workshop. aesthetics, and the computer and telephone maintenance workshop, given that‍ this‍ profession has ‍experienced real popularity in recent years, due to the wide distribution of smartphones.

The INDH’s funding of this type of socio-educational ⁣project is⁢ part of the approach adopted by the center, aiming to establish partnerships with civil society associations working in various professional fields, to ensure the management and implementation of training programs.

The ⁣INDH supports the management and equipment of‌ this center, which was carried out at the initiative of the⁢ Regional Academy of‌ Education and Training (AREF), as a unique educational project of its kind ⁣in the province, aimed at offering beneficiaries training combining‌ basic education and vocational‌ training, in order to enable them to continue their studies ⁢or access the job market at the authorized legal age, thanks to the combination of training and qualification.

The creation of this establishment is also‌ part of the⁤ implementation of the action program⁣ to upgrade vocational training, particularly with regard‍ to the fight against school dropouts, and efforts to deploy strategic vision 2015-2030 ‌aimed at ‌linking general education to professional training and ⁢offering education and training opportunities to ⁢young people who have dropped out of school with a view to promoting their socio-professional integration.
