The Toyota GR Yaris H2 Concept is a car that burns hydrogen instead of gasoline. It is powered by hydrogen but does not use the well-known and expensive fuel cell system, but instead uses a conventional engine with slight modifications. It is therefore equipped with the same 1.6 Turbo three-cylinder engine as the conventional GR Yariswith slight modifications to the injectors, electronics and pipes, as we tell you in the video.
The Toyota GR Yaris H2 participated in two editions of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the public was able to appreciate its operation and sound, like those of a conventional car.
